Support The Wave Orlando

We exist so that many might be Revived & Restored through intimacy with THE ONE.

At the core, The Wave Orlando exists (will exist) to connect everyday people and their families to the love, freedom and power found in Jesus Christ. We are passionate about seeing people come alive in faith, awakened to live a life of purpose and mission; as well as experience a deeper encounter & fellowship with God.

Our community is intentional about consistently speaking hope into people’s lives, whilst demonstrating love in action by serving our neighbors outside of the four walls of the church.

As a fresh & ‘simple church’ ministry expression, we are committed to living out our faith as a missional community of fully devoted, all-in Jesus followers; loving each other, serving our neighbors, raising disciples to change the world & bringing the gospel to the spiritually curious in Orlando, Central Florida and beyond.

“Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion -it’s a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.”

Billy Graham
We are so glad you have navigated to this page as the next few moments could be one of the most important moments of your life.

There are millions of people walking the face of this earth, who are living without hope, filled with fear, and a feeling of emptiness; uncertain about where they stand with Jesus and unsure where they would spend eternity if they were to die today. However, Jesus is constantly knocking on the doors of our hearts and encouraging us to open our hearts to Him, so that we can receive His free gift of Salvation, and live a life full of joy, hope, freedom and peace, with the assurance that we will spend eternity with Him.

What Is Salvation?

Salvation, means “to be rescued and delivered from evil.” By sending His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross and make a once and for all sacrifice, in order to rescue us from our sins and the consequences of sin (death), God offers us the gift of Salvation. This occurred so that God may accept Jesus Christ’s sacrifice in our place, forgive us for our sins, remove our shame and provide a way for us to receive eternal life both now and in heaven.

Why Do I Need Jesus?

The gospel is the ‘good news’. In fact, it is so good that it is almost unbelievable. But we can only truly appreciate the goodness of the gospel if we understand the reality of life without Jesus. It’s critical that we first know the bad news so that we might realise just how good the good news really is.

What’s the bad news?

All human beings are sinners who deserve God’s anger. Although physically alive, many are spiritually dead because of sin, and ultimately, they are heading to an eternity where they will be separated from God. As people, we are completely broken, and we need His saving grace – His Salvation, as there is no way we can earn our way into God’s favor.

So what’s the good news?

The entire Bible is basically the story of God’s mission to rescue all of humanity from sin and restore us into a right relationship with Him. This is all because of His reckless & unapologetic love for each and everyone of us and His unrelenting desire for each of us to be with Him. This is why He sent His Son – Jesus.

Jesus is both God and human, and came into the world, fulfilled the law completely, lived without sin and then died in our place. He lived a righteous (perfect and blameless) life, before making the once and for all sacrifice, in order to take on the sins of the world and the punishment for those sins. He then rose from the dead, showing that He has victory over sin and the consequences of sin, conquering the very thing that was supposed to be permanent – death. Then, in His loving grace, Jesus offered Salvation to us all.

When we believe in Jesus by faith and accept Him as our Lord and Saviour, God accepts Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf, and sees us as righteous and perfect, because Jesus paid the debt we owe. We can have a relationship with God, turn away from sin, live free from shame, live life empowered by the Holy Spirit and ultimately spend eternity in heaven with God, because of Jesus’ gift of love and Salvation.

If you are ready to accept, or re-accept Jesus’ gift of love and Salvation, then say this short prayer below, with faith:

Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord, Saviour and King. Fill me with precious Your Holy Spirit. Reveal Your truth to me. Release Your peace in my heart. I believe that through You Jesus, I am made clean and made right with God. I am forgiven. I’m no longer bound, no longer ashamed, no longer lost – for I am FOUND in Your love. For I am loved by You.
Jesus, I pray this in Your Holy & Perfect Name.
Amen.
